So February Half Term has past and we wanted to reflect back on the week and the amazing Virtual Camps that we ran.
During the first lockdown, Complete reacted very quickly and we started a Virtual Multi Activity Camp. During these week long camps we created fun and engaging activities for children whilst they were confined to being at home.
The days ran from 10:00am through to 3:00pm on Zoom. On every hour we would start the Zoom call and run a session for around 30 to 40 minutes and would set a task for the children to complete before the next session.
These were a huge sucess and we raised some money which was donated to Frimley Park Hospital NHS Trust. Our number on these camps were low and very personal in the sessions.
During the recent February Half Term we decided to run sport specific virtual camps which consisted of….
Monday – Virtual Football Camp with Coach Lee
Tuesday – Virtual Netball Camp with Coach Megan
Wednesday – Virtual Dance Camp with Coach Dexter
Thursday – Virtual Multi Activity Camp with Coach Simon
The coaches put a great deal of prep into these camps, and due to the fact we were running them for FREE we were swamped with bookings. This was a little more challenging than the last Virtual camps but we had some great feedback from parents…
It was great fun! and occupied my son for the whole 5 hours.
Really impressed! Really well done! Megan was awesome and created some great games.
Good fun and really engaging and varied. Her favourite game was the scavanger hunt.
